Plans go into effect

Looks like the trip is slated for the second week of May through the first week of June.

Thats three weeks in Europe.  

I'm so excited for this.  The trip itinerary is going to be flipped (flying into Prague), and looks like we'll fly out of Frankfurt.

The trip also includes a trip through the Black Forest.  I want a cuckoo clock.

I can't wait to get to Europe and drink beer.  Thats going to be so exciting.

A Prelude

Firstly, a purpose:

My Grande Quest.  Perhaps its not so grande, but in 9 months, I shall be partaking in a massive overseas journey.  Long story short, I'm going to Europe next May for three weeks.

This blog will eventually serve as my way of letting the folks back home what is going down.

Why is this blog going up so early?  Because things are starting to get planned now, and I know I won't write things down otherwise.

Now the basic sketch of my adventure is this:

My dad and I will fly into Zurich, Switzerland.  Tour Switzerland.  Head into Germany for some castle tours.  See Munich.  Visit Austria (take the Sound of Music tour).  Head into Czech Republic and visit Prague.  Fly out of Prague.

Travel will be done via EurRail.

It should definitely be a blast.  I certainly cannot wait.
